Turntables on the Chao Phraya — the new weekly Sunday session at Bangkok Island.

Two years ago, Nickodemus and Nappy G blessed our dancefloor with a set of rare world grooves and house that left us seriously blown away. That night was the very first Turntables on the Chao Phraya — inspired by Nickodemus' legendary Turntables on the Hudson, which has been running for 30 years now. It's a warm, sun-soaked sound: Latin, African and Arabic influences woven through a feel-good house beat.

Our ambition is to make that sound a signature of Bangkok Island, and to invite local and international artists who fit the vibe every single Sunday. For this second edition, we're proud to host Black Spagetti, closing out the session with the sound that defines these Sundays.

We're making it free for everyone: a proper way to close out the weekend, where the whole crew can reunite after the madness and vibe together. Watch the sun set over the jungle of Bang Krachao, drink in the view, and let the grooves carry you. The boat stays docked — but we're counting on everyone to move.

Getting there
Bangkok Island is a one-of-a-kind party boat and cultural space on the Chao Phraya, docked at Rama 3, Soi 64 — not far from Sukhumvit and Sathorn, with parking on site and a stunning view over Bang Krachao, Bangkok's Green Lung. Come early: spend the afternoon cycling or walking through the jungle, then join us for sunset.
