Bangkok Art Biennale Foundation, in collaboration with Alliance Française Bangkok, presents a special evening of live performance and film screenings of The Spirits of Maritime Crossing I & II, directed by Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda.

Presented in connection with the third edition of St. Moritz Art Film Festival in 2024 and the 60th and 61st International Art Exhibitions – La Biennale di Venezia in 2024 and 2026, The Spirits of Maritime Crossing traces journeys between Venice and Bangkok, exploring migration, identity, memory, desire, loss, spirituality and transcendence. Through encounters between contemporary art, performance and film, the project reflects on physical and spiritual crossings—across cultures, places and states of being.

The evening begins with a 20-minute live performance by Pichet Klunchun and Mutmee Pimdao Panichsamai, followed by screenings of The Spirits of Maritime Crossing Part I & Part II. The programme concludes with a Q&A with the director and participating artists followed by refreshments.
