The Lost Child Within: Our Souls Journey Through The Shadow
The Lost Child Within: Our Souls Journey Through The Shadow
Date : Saturday, May 15th
Time : 14:00pm - 16:30pm
Cost : 280K
This workshop is a guided exploration into how your early childhood experiences shape your emotional world, identity, and patterns in life.
We begin with a foundational understanding of the soul’s journey, you’ll learn how shadow is created through unprocessed emotions, unmet needs, and the beliefs we form in moments of pain. When emotions or certain parts of the child are not accepted, these experiences can form the root of what we later experience as “shadow.”
We’ll also explore how, in order to maintain love, connection, and belonging, we often internalize our caregivers’ perspectives, leading to a disconnection from our authentic self.
The workshop includes a guided breathwork practice to help you access your inner child and gently uncover what has been suppressed. This is followed by a reflective journaling process to bring awareness to your core beliefs, unmet needs, and the deeper essence of who you are beneath these layers.
We close with a Q&A space for integration, where you’re invited to bring your reflections and questions.
What to bring:
- A journal and pen
- Questions you’d like support with during the final sharing circle
Benefits
- Clarity on Your Inner Patterns: Understand where your emotional reactions, triggers, and self-perception actually come from, so you stop repeating them unconsciously.
- Access to the Root of the Issue: Instead of managing surface-level behaviors, you’ll identify the deeper layers: unprocessed emotions, unmet needs, and core beliefs formed in childhood.
- Reconnection to Your Authentic Self: By meeting your inner child, you begin restoring the parts of you that were suppressed, leading to more aligned choices, emotional honesty, and a stronger sense of self.
Who Should Avoid this Workshop:
- Individuals currently experiencing severe mental health conditions (e.g., psychosis, severe depression, or instability without professional support)
- Those not open to self-reflection or emotional exploration
- Pregnant women (due to the intensity of breathwork practices)
- Anyone looking for quick fixes rather than deeper inner work
