Orisha Movements
Orishas Movement is an immersive workshop that invites you to explore spiritual connection, embodied emotion, and ancestral energy through the sacred traditions of the Yoruba lineage. This experience is not defined by one discipline alone—it moves fluidly between movement, voice, rhythm, breath, and meditation.
It is not a dance workshop, yet the body moves.
Not a singing class, yet vocal expression becomes a gateway.
Not a percussion session, yet rhythm is awakened through the body.
Not a breathwork practice, yet breath and presence guide the journey.
Together, participants become like a tribe moving in one heartbeat, honoring natural forces and awakening inner vitality. The intention is to channel Ashé—the life-force energy that flows through the universe—through coordinated inner and outer movement. Organic instruments and electronic soundscapes blend to create an atmosphere where spirituality and contemporary expression meet.
The journey unfolds through the five elemental movements:
EARTH – ILE
WIND – AFẸFẸ
FIRE – INÁ
ETHER – ÀṢẸ
WATER – OMÍ
Each stage represents an element and the Orishas who embody its energy—archetypal forces that inhabit and activate different aspects of our inner world. Through their unique songs, rhythms, and dances, the Orishas express natural energies and cosmic principles that guide the interplay between spirit, body, and movement.
Orishas Movement is an experience of remembrance—where body, voice, and soul reconnect to ancestral wisdom, inviting transformation through rhythm, presence, and collective expression.
