Locked In Asia & SOTU Presents: Plastician
Plastician is one of the most influential figures to emerge from the UK bass underground, and on January 10th, 2026, he brings that legacy to Chiang Mai for a special two-part event that moves from day into night.
A key figure in London’s pirate radio era, Plastician helped shape the early foundations of dubstep, grime and UK bass. He launched Rinse FM’s first-ever dubstep show, giving early exposure to sounds and artists that would go on to define global club culture. Through his Terrorhythm label, he has continually pushed forward-thinking bass music, championing underground talent while staying deeply rooted in sound system culture.
The day session takes place at Deep Green, offering a laid-back but intentional environment for deep selections and warm pressure. This sets the tone before the night shifts into something heavier — the official opening of Locked In Club, a brand-new dedicated space for underground bass music in Chiang Mai. The after party is built for system weight, darker energy and long-form sets, with Plastician at the center of the room.
Supporting him across the day and night is a strong lineup of local selectors representing the city’s underground:
