Joey Alexander returns to Bali with his New York band for a rare and highly anticipated homecoming performance.

Recognised globally as one of the most remarkable jazz artists of his generation, Joey has earned multiple Grammy nominations and international acclaim for his distinctive style as both pianist and composer.

For this special performance, he is joined by his own ensemble—bringing a deeper level of musical chemistry, interplay, and artistic direction.

Following a history of sold-out appearances at the Padma Musical Series, this concert marks a new chapter: a more mature, expansive sound from an artist who has evolved from prodigy to global force.

Bali-born jazz pianist and multiple Grammy nominee, internationally acclaimed for his remarkable artistry from a young age. Having performed on the Grammy stage and featured on platforms such as NPR Tiny Desk and 60 Minutes, he has established himself as one of the leading voices of his generation, known for his expressive playing and distinctive musical identity.

Daniel Winshall (Bass)
New York–based bassist known for his expressive upright and electric playing. A New School graduate, he has performed with artists including Wynton Marsalis and Keyon Harrold, and appears regularly at leading NYC venues.

Kuba Skowroński (Saxophone)
Polish-born saxophonist blending European jazz training with Indonesia’s live scene. Known for an expressive, cross-cultural approach shaped through international performances and collaborations.

Tyson D. Jackson (Drums)
American drummer and Berklee graduate whose roots in jazz and gospel inform a dynamic, forward-thinking style. Mentored by leading artists, he brings both musicality and energy to the stage.
