On September 27, IGNITE returns with a renewed spirit, embracing the present moment while navigating the complexity of our shared future. The event reaffirms our belief in learning that is grounded in nature, community, and purpose, opening access to meaningful education for Indonesian youth.

At the heart of IGNITE lies a simple yet powerful purpose: to give back to the island that inspires us. 

Every rupiah raised fuels the Green School Foundation’s mission to nurture the next generation of environmental stewards. Through our School Partnership Program, we work hand-in-hand with local schools to develop inspiring, regenerative projects that bring sustainability to life in their communities. We also provide Agricultural University Scholarships, focusing on the children of farmers, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to honor their heritage while innovating for a sustainable future.

The theme for this year, Tales of the Shadows, draws inspiration from the world of Wayang, Indonesia’s ancient storytelling tradition where shadow and light dance together to reveal deeper truths.

In this spirit, IGNITE 2025 becomes a symbolic procession that honors both the seen and the unseen, the past and the possible: a journey of transformation where contrast creates clarity and culture offers guidance. This year, we are deeply honored to welcome I Made Sidia, the legendary Balinese master of puppetry, celebrated worldwide for his artistry and innovation. Together with his troupe, he will bring to life the epic tale of Samudra Manthana - the Churning of the Ocean - a timeless story of gods and demons working in unison to restore balance to the world. Joining him will be Pancer Langiit, the renowned performing arts house, along with other surprise artists guests who will add their own magic to this unforgettable night.

This year, IGNITE is honored to welcome the internationally acclaimed Chef Will Goldfarb and his talented team from Room4Dessert, who will be curating an exclusive, tailor-made menu for the evening.
