Whether kitesurfing, wakeboarding, or prone surfing, the hydrofoil is the natural “next step”. It opens a whole new world of possibilities by letting you quietly fly above the water and above the waves – like on a magic carpet. 

Foiling isn’t for the faint of heart, and not for absolute beginners either. You’ll need to be experienced with water sports (surf, SUP, kite or wake), and able to be towed behind a boat.

Be prepared to crash a lot before getting the hang of it! The result is incredibly rewarding – foiling is arguably the coolest feeling in the world. If you’ve hit a plateau with kitesurfing, foiling will take your kite surf experience to the next level and renew your enthusiasm.

We first tow you behind our boat, so you get a feel for riding smooth flat water. You’ll be riding and lifting out of the water. Once you’ve mastered this and feel confident, we’ll tow you into the waves at Oka Point. 

Sanur is the best spot in Bali for foiling. You can foil here at any tide. 

BEHIND A BOAT
You’ll start by foiling behind our boat, so you can learn to control and maneuver your board, get the right stance, and get used the feeling of flying. We’ll teach you how to ride your foil above the water steadily. Once you have understood the basics you can start pumping and carving in the wake with a longer rope and at higher speed.

IN THE WAVES
The foil increases your speed and your rides can easily go triple times the distance you usually surf. Oka Point is situated near Baby Reef and accessible from Mertasari beach by boat. This fat right-hander wave is perfect for foil surfing. We’ll tow you in front of the wave, you let go of the rope and then use the energy of the wave for a fun long ride. The boat will pick you up after the wave. Now let’s go again. And again. And again! 

UNDER A KITE
Learn to foil under a kite for the ultimate kite foiling experience. Our boat will follow you all the time. 

Each lesson is tailored to you and runs completely at your own pace. If two people, one will be towed while the other waits for their turn in the water or on the boat.
