Step into the Grand Lobby of Dusit Thani Bangkok and marvel at two magnificent 10-ton columns that are true masterpieces of art! Adorned with stunning Thai mural paintings, these columns beautifully blend the vibrant cultural essence of the 1970s with a modern twist. Originally crafted in 1970 for the former Benjarong restaurant by the talented Ajarn Paiboon Suwannakudt, affectionately known as Than Kudt, these murals showcase his brilliant vision, combining traditional Thai motifs with bold colors and contemporary flair.

Following the careful preservation of these columns when the original hotel closed, they now grace our Grand Lobby, serving as a powerful symbol of heritage, continuity, and artistic excellence.
