From Root to Heart is a ceremonial concert that revolves around and is celebrated through the heart. It is a ritual of planting and manifesting intentions, performed before a floral mandala in the shape of a heart. An altar dedicated to the Goddess, laden with symbols and mystical representations.

During this ceremony, songs and prayers are offered to open the portal of the heart, a portal from which the Sacred emerges, creating an intimate and shared space to offer and celebrate from Love and for Love. A sacred space filled with beauty, meaning, and sensitivity. A living metaphor, a place to sit and feel, to honor the present moment, to connect and celebrate before our beating heart.

Raffa Martinez

A musician, percussionist and creator of transformative spaces, Raffa has spent more than fifteen years exploring the meeting point between music, art, and spirituality.

Having shared stages with artists such as Ajeet, Deva Premal & Miten, Curawaka, Sam Garrett, Peia, Nessi Gomes, Jai Uttal, Mirabai Ceiba, Tina Malia, and many others, Raffa brings a unique fusion of devotional music, medicine songs, and heartfelt presence. His performances are sacred gatherings where music, beauty, prayer, and connection come together, inviting us into deeper communion with ourselves, each other, and the living world. Through his songs, floral artistry and the warmth of his presence, Raffa creates a space where the heart can open and remember.

As a multifaceted artist, he develops his human potential to manifest and express beauty, sensitivity, consciousness, and art, offering spaces for meditation, devotional chants, kirtan, bhakti yoga, medicine chants, and mantras. He was later initiated into the fourth level of the Andean mystical tradition by the Q'eros priests, a people descended from the Incas.

His ceremonial artistic proposal aims to serve the community in and toward the awakening of consciousness.

Always committed to the evolution of individual and collective consciousness, his dedication and commitment result in the creation of spaces for inner connection, always enhanced by the floral art (mandala) that this multidisciplinary artist offers in each performance or concert, as an unmistakable signature. His heart and his altar beat from his physical presence, an essential setting for a magical encounter, imbued with music, song, life, and a holistic connection with who we are and what surrounds us.

His purpose is to serve from Love, through Love, and for Love.
