What is acroyoga?
Acroyoga is the blend of yoga, acrobatics, and human connection. We will defy gravity in acrobatic asana, handstands, and focus on postural alignment. Safety, teamwork and play are at the heart of the practice.
What you'll learn
You’ll build a strong foundation in acroyoga principles, including basing, flying and spotting. We will explore safe movement practices, handstands, and dynamic transitions. To keep your yoga practice balanced we’ll explore therapeutic practices such as Thai yoga massage, restorative flying, and partner yoga. Your confidence in yourself will grow as you learn communication techniques and consent practices. We will dive into embodying practical teaching methodology, intelligent progressions, clear cuing & sequencing and applied anatomy to help you move & teach with ease.
Who's this training for?
This training is for anyone who wants to learn and deepen their acro practice and/or yoga teachers looking to expand their offerings. No partner or experience necessary.

- (9:00 - 10:00) Handstand practice
- (10:00 - 10:15) Break
- (10:15 - 12:15) Acroyoga practice
- (12:15 - 1:45) Lunch & personal practice
- (1:45 - 2:30) Theory
- (2:30 - 4:00) Acroyoga practice
- (4:00 - 4:15) Break
- (4:15 - 5:15) Principles of teaching
- (5:15 - 6:15) Teaching practice
- (6:15 - 6:30) Break
- (6:30 - 7:30) Restorative session

- 50hr YACEP Yoga Alliance continued education
- Certification of completion
- Have an understanding of acroyoga foundations
